Our client is an established company specializing in advanced sheet metal and metalworking, focusing on quality, delivery precision, and long-term customer relationships. With a modern machine park and high technical expertise, they manufacture complex components for various industries. They are now looking for an experienced CNC Operator to contribute to efficient and quality-driven production.

Your Responsibilities

As a CNC Operator, you will work in a modern production environment and play a key role in the business.

You will be responsible for setting up, rigging, and operating CNC machines for milling and/or turning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Optimizing machining processes to increase productivity and reduce cycle times
• Performing ongoing quality control and measurements according to drawings and tolerance requirements
• Troubleshooting and handling deviations in production and machinery
• Participating in improvement work based on LEAN principles and 5S
• Documenting changes and ensuring good traceability in production

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in CNC machining within industrial production. You have a strong technical interest and a good understanding of machining processes, tools, and materials.

To succeed in this role, we require:

• Upper secondary or post-secondary education in industry or technology, or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in CNC machining within industrial production
• Several years of experience in turret lathe turning (carousel turning)
• Good skills in reading drawings, tolerances, and metrology
• Good understanding of cutting machining, tools, and materials
• Experience working according to quality systems and production routines
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. English skills are an advantage

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Control systems such as Mazatrol or Heidenhain
• Programming within CAM systems, e.g., Mastercam
• 5-axis machining
• Forklift and/or overhead crane certificates
• LEAN, 5S, and continuous improvement

As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and quality-conscious. You are solution-oriented, technically interested, and comfortable working both independently and in a team. We also value that you are responsible and flexible in your approach, with a natural drive to develop and improve processes.

Working hours may include two-shift systems or night shifts.
