Our partner GKN Aerospace is facing an incredibly exciting and expansive phase where they are growing in several areas and technologies, and they now need to expand their team with more CAM preparers.
Job Description:
As a CAM/NC programmer, you will be part of a team responsible for creating new and developing existing NC programs for turning and milling. This includes setup, method selection, tool selection, as well as identifying the need for new technologies.
The programming tool used is Siemens NX, and Vericut is used for simulation, verification, and optimization of ISO code. Most production drawings, instructions, and CNC programs are programmed based on 3D models. Teamcenter is used for storing programs and documentation. Quality and robustness are of utmost importance, and this is achieved in collaboration with production engineers and operators. In the team, your expertise will have a significant impact on GKN and the company's future competitiveness.
The assignment requires you to undergo a security interview and be approved according to current regulations. The assignment also entails requirements for certain citizenship.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have an academic bachelor's degree, university studies, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience. You have knowledge and experience in cutting machining and a good understanding of production flow and quality outcomes. If you have previous experience with NC programming or experience working with the NX software, this is an advantage.
We focus primarily on your personality and believe that you are open to new ideas and enjoy thinking outside the box. Flexibility and good teamwork skills are some of your strongest attributes, and you are a team player with drive and a winning attitude.
You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
