GKN Aerospace Sweden is part of GKN Aerospace, which manufactures engine components, aircraft structures, cabin windows, wiring, and much more for many of the world's aircraft. The companies in the Aerospace division that work with aircraft engine parts form the Engines business unit. At the facility in Trollhättan, advanced parts for aircraft and space rocket engines are developed and manufactured. They also work with engine maintenance.

The team in the Material Solutions department works every day to make a difference and strives to improve and develop their ways of working. Material Solutions is looking for you who wants to strengthen the team as a Multiflex Operator, work with new, high-tech equipment, and be part of the joint journey towards the future.

Your responsibilities

In the role of operator, you will work with a variety of machines and technology, ranging from some of the world's largest 3D printing machines for metal powders to EB welders, EDM machines, heat treatment equipment, and much more. This role is primarily a powder bed operator, with the opportunity to later flex-train on the aforementioned equipment. You will have the opportunity to:

• Operate and monitor advanced manufacturing processes.

Your profile

• A 3-year technical education or equivalent experience from the manufacturing industry.
• Ability to work in a structured and organized manner with a passion for improvement work.
• Good collaboration skills and a natural customer focus.
• Experience with additive manufacturing methods is an advantage.
• A team player who is passionate about learning new things. You thrive in a varied environment where continuous development is the norm and no two days are alike.
