About the role

Are you interested in sports and outdoor life and passionate about delivering top-class customer service? We are now looking for an engaged and positive employee who will join a fast-paced and dedicated team in our store Sportshopen in Linköping! Here we are driven by the desire to constantly improve and to offer the best service to our customers.

Responsibilities

We offer a fun job with a high tempo and varied tasks. In addition to good customer service and sales, the tasks include cash register work, signage, price labeling, unpacking, and restocking. An important part of the job is also keeping the store tidy and ensuring the right products are in the right place.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience working in retail, preferably from the sports industry. You should be good at conveying your knowledge to colleagues and customers, and we would appreciate that you have a good sense for product display and can handle large product flows.

Conditions

The position is a fixed-term assignment at 60% employment level, running from 1/8/2026 to 6/6/2027, with a chance of extension.

We apply wages according to the collective agreement with the Swedish Union for Shop and Office Employees (Handelsanställdas förbund).

We may perform credit checks as well as extracts from the criminal record of the applicant.

Who are we?

Swedemount Sportswear & Fashion AB was founded in 1991 and today has 23 stores under the name Sportshopen and one store under the name Bazar. In Sörred outside of Gothenburg, we have our 20,000 sqm automated warehouse and offices. In Grebbestad on the west coast, we also have our headquarters and our largest store, which is the largest sports store in the Nordics at 14,000 sqm.

Our stores are located throughout Sweden, from north to south, with an expanding e-commerce that also extends to the European market. Sportshopen is today one of the larger individual players in Sweden in sales within sports and leisure. Our assortment consists mainly of clothing and shoes from leading brand suppliers, but we also develop and manufacture our own brands – clothing that can be used for activities in harsh climates, year-round.
