In the role of Supply Chain Lead, you hold a key position in ensuring an efficient and well-functioning flow from the steel mill to the finished product. You are responsible for optimizing capacity, delivery precision, and planning, while also contributing to the development of working methods and processes. The role involves close collaboration with production, logistics, and sales.

You will have a secure start in the role by working closely with experienced colleagues and following a structured introduction plan that provides you with the right conditions for success. Responsibilities

  • Ensure optimal planning based on capacity, customer needs, and forecasts, both short-term and long-term
  • Drive development and continuous improvement of planning principles
  • Work data-driven with ongoing optimization and prioritization in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Monitor and develop inventory balances and flows to strengthen efficiency and capital tie-up
  • Contribute to efficient and cross-functional collaboration between production, logistics, quality, and sales

We are looking for you who

are driven by curiosity, dare to think new thoughts, and challenge old patterns. With your strong analytical skills, you easily translate data into concrete business decisions. You thrive in a role with many contact points and have a pedagogical approach that enables you to help the organization understand and learn new solutions. To qualify for the position, you also have:

  • A post-secondary education in logistics, Supply Chain, industrial economics, or equivalent experience assessed as comparable
  • Understanding of production planning, forecasts, and inventory control
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English
  • Valid driver's license (Category B)
  • Ability to work on-site in Smedjebacken

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience from process industry or complex logistics planning
  • Experience in data analysis and visualization
  • Experience with planning tools, preferably Quintiq
