About the Operations

The Care Administration consists of approximately 2,000 employees who take care of the municipality's elderly and people with various disabilities. Our work makes a difference for people every day. Together, we shape care and support in Trollhättan.

Our Specialized Housing for the Elderly (SÄBO) at Lantmannavägen 102 is one of our newer facilities, located just outside central Trollhättan. The facility offers 45 residential spaces distributed across several smaller units.

We are now looking for new colleagues who, with their commitment and competence, wish to provide care with compassion.

Job Responsibilities

Here, you will work based on the national value base for elderly care, focusing on person-centered and health-promoting care. In this role, you provide support and care based on each individual's needs and conditions, with the goal of creating security, participation, and good quality of life for our residents.

The work is based on the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act and includes basic care, delegated health and medical tasks, as well as practical support in daily life. Documentation according to current legislation is a natural part of the job. You will work closely with colleagues, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and relatives, where collaboration and good treatment are important parts of the assignment.

You will be based in one of the facility's wards but must also be flexible to cover other wards at the facility as needed.

Working hours are scheduled for days and evenings, weekdays, and every other weekend.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nurse assistant (undersköterska) or care assistant (vårdbiträde). As a nurse assistant, you have a high school diploma from the Care and Nursing program or other education that the employer considers equivalent. As a care assistant, 800 high school credits in care and nursing are required. You must also have previous work experience from elderly care.

Since the work involves many contacts with colleagues, residents, and relatives, as well as regulated requirements for documentation, good knowledge of Swedish is required, both in speech and writing.

To succeed in the role, you need to be self-assured and have good empathetic abilities to meet the residents' individual needs. You are good at taking initiative and have a flexible attitude towards the whole. Furthermore, we see that you are curious, have a desire to learn new things, and to receive delegation. Through your positive attitude, you contribute to a good work climate – for the residents, relatives, and your colleagues. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Employment Information

• To be employed as a nurse assistant, you must present a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen). Please include this with your application.
