Family Home Secretary for Children and Young People

Do you want to make a difference for children and young people? We are now looking for a Family Home Secretary for our department of Children and Young People.
We are a team of 7 Family Home Secretaries working within the Children and Young People unit. In total, the Children and Young People department consists of 25 social secretaries, 3 family law secretaries, 4 team leaders, 2 unit managers, and 2 administrators.

About the position
The work as a Family Home Secretary is varied, developmental, and meaningful. You will play a key role in creating conditions for children and young people to have safe and stable upbringing environments, together with social secretaries, family therapists, and external collaboration partners.
In this role, you work with recruiting and investigating individuals who wish to become emergency foster homes, foster homes, therapeutic families, contact families, or contact persons. You match service providers with the right child or youth and follow up on interventions through support and supervision. The work also includes documentation in the business system Treserva, determining compensation levels, and drawing up agreements. You are also an important part of the department's development work, where we jointly work to improve and develop our methods.
The position also involves on-call duties according to a rotating schedule, approximately one week every other month, during which you are available for our foster homes during evenings and weekends.
The Family Home Secretaries have different areas of responsibility. For this specific position, the focus is on recruiting, matching, and supervising contact persons and contact families for children and young people, as well as investigating foster homes.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who are a social worker or have another university education that we assess as equivalent. We would also appreciate if you have experience of social work with authority functions in the field of children and young people, as well as good ability to apply current legislation and guidelines.
