As a Specialist Nurse (Specialistundersköterska), you play a key role in developing and ensuring the quality of care and support services. Through your advanced competence, you contribute to strengthening the organization's working methods and creating good conditions for safe, secure, and person-centered care.

The role involves combining daily care work with specific responsibilities for supervision, knowledge transfer, and organizational development. You act as a support for staff and managers in matters related to nursing, interaction, documentation, and quality work, and you contribute to the introduction of new employees.

In close collaboration with care recipients, relatives, managers, and colleagues, you work to develop interventions and working methods that promote the individual's health, participation, and independence. Through your commitment, you contribute to a learning organization where competence, quality, and continuous development are in focus.

We are currently looking for a Specialist Nurse for home care services in Kortedala Norra. The unit is located at Första Majgatan 2B.

Working in home care means helping and supporting people in their own homes, based on the decided interventions. Your work contributes to creating security and enabling the person receiving care to manage their daily life as independently as possible.

The tasks are varied, and you serve as a support in daily life. This may include providing support and supervision during meals, personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, or simpler activities and household chores. You may also perform certain health and medical tasks after instruction and delegation from, for example, registered nurses.

The position is a permanent full-time role. Working hours are during the day and evening, with work every other weekend.

About you

Qualifications

• You are a trained nurse (undersköterska) and can provide the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate for the protected professional title, or alternatively prove that you were employed as a nurse when the new regulations were introduced.
• A university college education of at least 200 credits with specialization in elderly care, psychiatry, or another education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experienced in cycling and willing to use an e-bike for work.
• The role requires computer literacy for documentation and deviation management in various IT systems, as well as good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits

• Valid driver's license and driving experience.
• Work experience in healthcare and social services.
