Are you the one who makes it possible for others to continue living at home? To create good working conditions and strengthen the work environment, we are now expanding our teams. We are therefore looking for more assistant nurses (undersköterskor) for the home care services within Gothenburg City. At present, we have vacancies at the following units: Home Care Askim, Home Care Bergum/Gunnilse, Home Care Gårdavägen Södra, Home Care Hammarkullen/Hjällbo, Home Care Kortedala Norra, and Home Care Redbergsvägen.

Home Care Askim is looking for assistant nurses who have both a B-category driver's license and cycling experience. The unit is based at Askims Torg 5.

Home Care Bergum/Gunnilse is looking for assistant nurses who have a B-category driver's license. The unit is based at premises on Angereds Torg 5.

Home Care Gårdavägen Södra is looking for assistant nurses who have cycling experience. The unit is based at premises on Gårdavägen 2.

Home Care Hammarkullen/Hjällbo is looking for assistant nurses who have cycling experience; having a B-category driver's license is an advantage. The unit is based at premises on Angereds Torg 5.

Home Care Kortedala Norra is looking for assistant nurses who have cycling experience; having a B-category driver's license is an advantage. The unit is based at premises on Första Majgatan 2B.

Home Care Redbergsvägen is looking for assistant nurses. Experience from work within healthcare and social care is an advantage. The unit is based at premises on Redbergsvägen 38.

Working in home care means supporting and assisting the care recipient in their own home based on approved services. You travel to the individual's home by bicycle or car. Your duties include practical help with personal hygiene and care, support during meals, activities, laundry, cleaning, and more. You also perform health and medical tasks after instruction and delegation from licensed personnel. All documentation is done digitally.

About You

Qualifications

• We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse, can show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate for the protected professional title, or alternatively can show that you were employed as an assistant nurse when the new rules were introduced.
• Cycling experience and comfort using an e-bike at work is required for some units (see description in the ad text).
• B-category driver's license and driving experience is required for some units (see description in the ad text).

You enjoy both collaborating with others and working independently, and you have good communication skills. You are computer literate for documentation in IT systems and have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with others.

You take your tasks seriously, are keen on finishing what you start, and ensure that the work is done correctly. You are pleasant and helpful to other people even in stressful situations. You think about those we serve and their best interests.

You can quickly adapt your working style and see opportunities instead of obstacles. Since work in home care can change when unexpected events occur, you adapt your communication to the recipient and the situation. You convey information and ideas clearly and ensure that your message gets across.
