About the workplace

Do you want to grow in your professional role and help influence and develop operations to meet future challenges? We are now looking for assistant nurses for our two home care districts based in Ellös. With us, you are offered a fun and varied job in home care!

The home care service in Orust Municipality belongs to the Care sector and is part of the elderly care operations area where our vision is to become Sweden's best elderly care!

The home care districts, Morlanda and Tvet-Varekil, are based in the same premises but are responsible for two different districts. We work with joint planning and strive for close cooperation between the districts. The work includes day and evening shifts as well as every other weekend.

In recent years, we have introduced several digital solutions within home care, such as web-based grocery shopping, digital key management, and medication dispensers. We also have an external company that performs cleaning and window cleaning services.

Within Orust Municipality, we apply "Full-time as the norm," which means that everyone has the right to a full-time employment. This may mean that you as an employee may have to do resource shifts at other units than the one you are employed at.

Your responsibilities

In home care, we work with users who have been granted support through individually needs-assessed interventions based on the Social Services Act. This means that you work to preserve and develop people's own resources. As an assistant nurse in home care, part of the assignment is to be a fixed care contact for several users. You are responsible, among other things, for drawing up and following up on an individual implementation plan together with the user.

In addition to interventions according to the Social Services Act, home care performs certain health and medical care tasks after delegation from the home healthcare service.

We use LifeCare Mobile Care as an app in your individual phone where we have our work plans and register our visits.

About you

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse. It is meritorious if you already have experience working in home care.

As a person, you are self-reliant, have good cooperation skills, and a flexible approach. In daily work, you are relationship-building, quality-conscious, and collaborate with your colleagues towards common goals. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required, both spoken and written.
