Do you want to develop and optimize manufacturing processes and provide technical support to production? Are you a detail-oriented and problem-solving person with experience in production technology and welding? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

e-Component is in an expansion phase and we now need to strengthen the team with a Production Technologist specializing in welding. In this role, you will work closely with production and contribute to both efficiency and quality. As a Production Technologist, you will help develop the department, focusing on process optimization, technical support, and continuous improvements to ensure efficient production and a safe working environment.

About the role

To succeed in the role of Production Technologist, you need the ability to create structure, engagement, and good collaborations in a growing business. You thrive taking responsibility, analyzing problems, and driving improvements together with production managers, your team, and colleagues. Your focus is on ensuring an efficient and well-functioning production, while also contributing to a positive work environment and development. You are also willing to cover for colleagues and help with other tasks that may arise. Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and improve welding processes with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Create and update instructions, working methods, and standards for production
• Provide technical support to welders and drive problem-solving in case of deviations
• Participate in and drive improvement work and method development
• Contribute to investments in new equipment and provide technical expertise
• Train and introduce employees to working methods and processes.

We are looking for someone who

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in production technology within welding or similar manufacturing. You have good knowledge of manufacturing methods and blueprint reading. IWS certification and experience with robot welding/programming are extra merits. As a person, you are detail-oriented, problem-solving, and have an easy time collaborating with others. You are proactive, pedagogical, and enjoy working in a team. You are motivated by developing both processes and people, and have a natural focus on improvement and results.
