Do you want to work on a ward with varied tasks? Then ward 50D is the place for you!

Our Operations

Thoracic Surgery Ward 50D provides both pre- and post-operative care and handles both planned and emergency activities. The pace of work is often fast, but we have a very good working atmosphere where we all strive to help each other when needed. On the ward, nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors work in teams with several other professional groups, all focused on the patient. The ward has 27 beds and we have approximately 80 employees.

Your Role

The work as a nursing assistant on 50D is varied and developmental. For post-operative patients, nursing care, mobilization, and wound care are the main tasks. The pre-operative part consists more of information, sample collection, and preparations for surgery. The ward has good routines and structure.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant. Experience from working in a hospital is preferred. Experience with the medical record system Cosmic is meritorious.

Your Competencies

You have good collaboration skills and are meticulous. You are flexible and can work both days and nights. You are positive towards challenges and can handle changes in work pace.

What We Offer

We offer a permanent position, which includes rotation shifts for days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Induction is arranged according to agreement related to previous healthcare experience. Start date by agreement. We have a preference schedule. Probation may apply. Recruitment is ongoing during the application period.
