We are one of two region-run health centres in Ludvika Municipality and have approximately 15,500 registered patients. Among our staff are specialists in general medicine, ST and AT doctors, district nurses, nurses, specialist nurses, assistant nurses, counsellors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, mental health care coordinators, and medical secretaries. The health centre is located at Ludvika Hospital. The hospital offers proximity to X-ray, emergency care, and the laboratory.

As a nurse at our health centre, we offer you a challenging and varied job with great diversity. You will meet patients of all ages and life situations and play a central role in assessing and planning their care. The work includes telephone advice where you independently make medical assessments, work at the assessment clinic with patients seeking care for acute conditions, and clinic work at the nurse's clinic, including wound dressings, injections, and skin assessments. You work both independently and in a team with doctors and other professions to prioritize, plan, and coordinate care based on patient needs. The role requires good collaboration skills, confidence in your professional role, and a patient-focused approach.

We offer a structured and individualized introduction where you get good conditions to start work in a secure manner. The introduction is adapted to your experience and competence and takes place in close cooperation with experienced colleagues. You will gradually take on more responsibility and always have access to support and supervision when needed.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written (C1 level)

Merits:

• Experience with Cosmic and telephone advice
• Experience from primary care or other clinic activities

Personal qualities:

• Good communication skills, high empathy, and professional attitude
• You can collaborate well in a team but are also confident working independently and making your own decisions
