About Us

The Midwife Clinic in Strömstad is located at the Family Centre on Brunnsgatan 2, where two midwives work. Our other clinics in the area are located in Munkedal, Tanumshede, Sotenäs, Orust, and Lysekil. The clinics share a common manager and collaborate closely. We value a good working environment and a positive work climate. Regionhälsan's midwife clinics are HBTQ-certified, and we work with management and quality systems according to ISO (9001:2015).

About the Work

As a midwife here, you work independently with reproductive and sexual health. Your duties include, among other things, pregnancy monitoring, group parenting support, contraceptive counseling, STI prevention work, gynecological cell sample checks, and vaccinations. The work also includes telephone counseling and supervision of students. We conduct continuous improvement work and utilize your competence and initiative in the development of the operations.

We want to promote employee development and work according to career development models, where we map your competence in relation to the model, and what could be the next step in terms of education, development, and tasks. You are involved in both your own and the clinic's development, and we value your initiative.

We offer all employees mentorship and place great emphasis on a good individualized introduction. As a midwife here, you get up to ten competence development days per year, including training days, planning days, and conferences. We actively work for a good working environment, and our employees enjoy working here.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife with prescribing rights and who want to contribute to safe and professional care. Previous experience working at a midwife clinic is meritorious.

As a person, you are flexible and structured with good collaboration skills. You have a well-developed empathetic ability and a professional approach in meetings with both patients and colleagues. You treat others in a positive, respectful, and attentive manner and actively contribute to a good working environment. In this recruitment, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
