We at Attendo are now looking for a nursing assistant for Vårdbo in Åkersberga. Attendo Vårdbo Åkersberga is a care and nursing home with 24 places distributed over two departments, a dementia department and a somatic department. We also have a social day activity center with 10 places. Attendo Vårdbo is located by Åkers canal, centrally in Åkersberga.

About the role

As a nursing assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and nursing to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a large part of your role, as well as being able to contribute with various activities that brighten up the daily life for our elderly.

Your duties include among other things:

• Personal care according to the company's routines, based on the customer's individual needs and wishes
• If necessary, help with preparing, cooking and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc.
• Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions
• Cooperate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 credits.
• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (oral and written)
• Good computer skills/computer experience
