Leader Grogrund is seeking an engaged Operations Manager
Are you a strategic networker passionate about local development? Do you want to help create hope for the future, opportunities, and sustainable development in Berg, Härjedalen, Krokom, Åre, and Östersund? Leader Grogrund is now looking for a new Operations Manager to lead and develop our operations as our current manager retires.
About the role
As the Operations Manager at Leader Grogrund, you will have a central and varied role. You will act as the link between our voluntary board (LAG), our funders, and the daily work at the office. We are currently in an exciting transition phase, concluding one program period while planning the launch of the next.
The Operations Manager position is a part-time role. Your duties will involve a balance between strategic leadership and operational work. You will lead our competent team consisting of two case handlers and a financial controller. Since we offer flexible work locations, we require you to be structured, self-motivated, and confident in leading remotely. The position may potentially be combined with other duties.
Who are you?
We place great emphasis on your experience and personal suitability rather than formal degrees, although these are a plus. To succeed in this role, we look for someone who:
- Has extensive experience in rural development work and managing EU projects.
- Is a communicative leader who can inspire employees and partners.
- Is accustomed to navigating member-driven organizations and understands democratic decision-making processes.
- Has a strong local anchor and experience building networks between businesses, associations, and the public sector.
As a person, you are unpretentious, strategic, and capable of switching between visionary issues and practical case handling.

Practical information
- Scope: Part-time, scope is negotiable.
- Location: Anywhere within Leader Grogrund's area (remote work).
- Start date: October/November 2026 to ensure a smooth handover.
- Collective agreement via Fremia, target-oriented working hours apply.
- A driver's license and access to a car are required as the role may involve travel.
