Here there is a desire to develop and at the same time a natural mentality to protect nature, culture, and the people who live here. Welcome to Bräcke Municipality – a little closer!
Bräcke Municipality is now seeking a Project Manager for the implementation of the preliminary study Future Bräcke.
About the Assignment
The preliminary study is to investigate how Bräcke Municipality can strengthen industrial capacity, local robustness, and long-term development in a changing external environment. The work involves analysis, collaboration, and knowledge gathering regarding the business sector's prerequisites, preparedness, robust supply chains, and future development opportunities.
Bräcke Municipality has many micro and small businesses, long distances, and a sparse structure that affects the prerequisites for business development. At the same time, the external world is changing rapidly with increased demands for preparedness, robust supply chains, and the local ability to handle disruptions and crises. This means that the municipality's resources, companies, and possible establishment areas need to be understood in a new and larger context.
The preliminary study aims to investigate how Bräcke can strengthen its industrial capacity and create better prerequisites for long-term development. The work involves analysis, dialogue, and knowledge gathering regarding the business sector's needs, local strengths, and future opportunities. An important part is to see how existing companies and local resources can contribute to increased preparedness and public benefit both in everyday life and in crisis situations. The preliminary study should also contribute to better collaboration between the municipality, the business sector, and other relevant actors in these matters.
By gathering knowledge and creating a common picture of the current situation, Bräcke Municipality can obtain a clearer basis for future priorities. The result should support continued work and concrete measures that strengthen the municipality's robustness and development potential.
The preliminary study is financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) via Tillväxtverket and Region Jämtland Härjedalen.
Based on the needs of the operation, remote work is possible, but at present, we see that the role will require a high degree of physical presence at the workplace.
