At Capio S:t Görans Hospital in Kungsholmen, Stockholm, we are looking for an Intensive Care Nurse. About Us
Capio S:t Görans Hospital is a modern emergency hospital in central Stockholm where patient-centered care and specialist expertise are in focus. On our intensive care unit, a dedicated and experienced team works in a warm and safe work environment, where knowledge and experience are shared generously – there is always someone to ask here.
We have 8 care beds in new, fresh premises and care for patients with complex and acute needs. We work in a multidisciplinary team. The department collaborates closely with the hospital's other units and is responsible for dispatches during alarms, as well as supporting with MIG interventions and Post-ICU follow-ups together with anesthesiologists. The team spirit and camaraderie are strong, all competencies are equally important, and every employee is seen and given the opportunity to influence.
Your Role
As an Intensive Care Nurse, you are responsible for the assessment, observation, and treatment of critically ill patients. You take care of 2 patients depending on care intensity and varying diagnoses, together with a nursing assistant and an anesthesiologist. A physiotherapist is also an obvious part of the team.
You work closely with other professional groups in daily rounds, care planning, and acute interventions. The tasks include advanced monitoring, respiratory treatment, medication management, hemodynamic monitoring, and documentation in the medical record systems Cosmic and ICCA (IVA PDMS).
