We are Akademiska Sjukhuset – one of Sweden's leading university hospitals. As a county hospital and provider of highly specialized care, we offer healthcare to two million people in Central Sweden. Something is always happening here – a new life is born, a grandmother undergoes surgery, a colleague is hailed as a hero. Here, you will experience both tough challenges and fantastic moments, within a strong community of colleagues. See parts of our reality in our photo exhibition; akademiskafotoutstallning.se (https://akademiskafotoutstallning.se). We welcome your application!
Welcome to Sweden's hottest workplace in Uppsala! Just below the helicopter pad, we operate one of the country's two units providing national highly specialized burn care. The Burn Center is now expanding its muscles and increasing the number of patient beds from 4 to 7. Therefore, we need to expand our team. Here, we work in multidisciplinary teams, always with the patient in focus. We care for burn patients from the acute stage, requiring advanced intensive care, to intermediate care, and finally rehabilitation before the patient is discharged. This provides continuity in care and close contact with the patient and their relatives. The ward has an operating theater where our patients are operated on. Our operations are complemented by an outpatient clinic where we treat minor injuries and care for patients who have been discharged from the ward.

Together with your colleagues, you create a good work environment and contribute a positive attitude to the work group. If we get along well, there is an opportunity to take Uppsala University's supervisor training, ICU nurse training, or perhaps you have a project in mind that could become a reality with us?
We are looking for you who are trained as a Nursing Assistant. Experience in emergency care or intensive care is excellent but not a requirement.
