About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician (Drifttekniker) with us, you are a central part of our operations as you have the opportunity to facilitate our customers' daily work. You are the face of Specialfastigheter and have daily contact with our clients. In this role, you are responsible for the daily supervision and operation of our properties in Luleå, Kalix, and Haparanda.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will work independently and represent Specialfastigheter on a daily basis. Collaboration with customers, technical managers, colleagues, and contractors is a central part of the job. In ongoing management, you are responsible for daily operations, corrective maintenance, conducting authority inspections, physical and digital rounds, ordering and following up on performed services, as well as minor customer orders and invoicing.
Examples of tasks included in the role:
- Corrective maintenance
- Perform and follow up on operational optimization measures
- Minor planned maintenance and tenant adaptations
- Systematic fire protection work (SBA)
- Follow-up, analysis, and compilation regarding utilities, authority requirements, and inspections
- Ongoing contact with the customer's operational staff, colleagues, and contractors
- Participate in the work on your unit's budget and business plan together with your manager

About You
To be successful in this role, we believe you have experience in independently performing corrective maintenance and supervision. Additionally, we would like you to have:
- Education in maintenance technology or equivalent competence acquired in another way
- Previous experience in a role such as Maintenance Technician, HVAC technician, electrician, ventilation technician, or another role deemed relevant for the position.
- General good knowledge and understanding of building technical systems and how they interact
- Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is used in daily work.
- Good computer skills and experience with, for example, overarching control systems, case management systems, ordering systems, and invoicing.
- Some experience in the role of a client/orderer and handling warranty cases
- A valid B-driver's license is required

Location
You will be based at our maintenance office at Lejonet (Justice Center in Luleå), where you, together with two other Maintenance Technicians, will be responsible for the operation of our properties: Lejonet (Luleå), the Correctional Service (Porsön) Luleå, Sis-home in Kalix, and the Correctional Service in Haparanda. We also have a maintenance office in Umeå within our area, with two Maintenance Technicians responsible for the Correctional Institutions in Umeå and Sörbyn, as well as a Sis-home (Renforsen) in Vindeln municipality. If needed, you will also assist with the operation of our other properties. Travel between your properties is included in the role, and since our operations are nationwide, travel outside your area also occurs. You will become part of the Property Area North.

The Recruitment Process
We begin the selection process after the application period has ended. Thereafter, we contact relevant candidates to schedule interviews. Prior to any potential employment, we conduct a special security assessment where we perform a security interview and review final judgments from Swedish courts. Before employment, we also conduct alcohol and drug tests through our occupational health service. Additionally, some of our clients require placement in security clearance and subsequent register checks in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585 Chapter 3) in certain cases.
