About the role

As a social secretary for children and young people in Hässleholm, you are an important part of our work to create security and hope for the future. You work closely with children, young people, and their families, and your task is to investigate, assess, make decisions, and follow up on interventions. The starting point is the children's rights perspective, current laws, and guidelines, and we focus on ensuring legal certainty and quality for children, young people, and adults.

• You are welcomed to a team consisting of 7 colleagues and a unit manager. We work in three teams with 7–8 case handlers with a unit manager (EC) in each team. For us, it is important to have present managers, and we understand the importance of valuing our relationships and helping each other to be our best selves.
• We have structured the investigation work where we work in teams with a unit manager. Each team also includes a senior social secretary who is an extra support in the team, helping to supervise and support colleagues. The team receives new cases during a duty week, and time is planned and allocated for writing days. Each team follows a three-week model.

About you

We are looking for you who have a social work degree and preferably experience working with children and young people within social services. You have a good ability to meet people in different situations, express yourself in speech and writing, and feel a genuine commitment to creating a safer and better future for the inhabitants of Hässleholm.
