About Us

The midwife clinics in Uddevalla, Åmål, Mellerud, Bengtsfors, Dals-Ed, and Färgelanda are part of Area M1, together with the clinics in Strömstad, Tanumshede, Sotenäs, Lysekil, Munkedal, and Orust. The midwife clinics in Trollhättan, Vänersborg, and Lilla Edet are also included in this area. The entire area is HBTQ-certified, and we work according to the management and quality system ISO 9001:2015. Within the area, we have close collaboration, including joint training days and competence development.

At the clinic in Uddevalla, eleven midwives and two nursing assistants work in close and good cooperation. We are located next to the Family Center in the city center and also have an established collaboration with the Family Center in Dalaberg. Here, you will become part of an engaged team focused on safe, accessible, and equitable care for our patients.

About the Work

As a midwife, you work independently with reproductive and sexual health. Your duties include pregnancy monitoring, gynecological smear tests, vaccinations, and contraceptive counseling. You also provide telephone advice, conduct digital healthcare meetings, and supervise students.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife with prescribing rights and have previous work experience as a midwife.

As a person, you are flexible, loyal, and have an easy time collaborating. You have good empathetic skills and a professional attitude where you treat both patients and colleagues in a respectful and positive manner. You enjoy developing in your professional role and see opportunities in change. It is natural for you to adapt to new ways of working and routines as the business and society develop, and you are happy to actively contribute to the clinic's continuous improvement work. Personal suitability for the position is of great importance.

Conditions

The placement of the position may be in another location.

Selection will take place on July 20th, and interviews will be conducted on July 23rd and July 27th.

Salary: Monthly salary, individual salary setting.
