About Us
Närhälsan Sörhaga rehabilitation clinic is located centrally in Alingsås town. More than 20 people work at the clinic; occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and administrative staff. We have a good working atmosphere where we care for each other, enjoy our work, and develop. We work according to Vårdval Rehab's requirements and quality book, and our keywords are reliable, caring, and innovative.

About the Job
Do you want to work specialized in neurological rehabilitation in an experienced team where you get to follow the patient over time, influence your working methods, and at the same time have close support from colleagues?
With us, you become part of a neuro-care team where occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech therapists work closely together regarding the patients. We work with joint team visits where several professions meet the patient simultaneously, formulate a rehabilitation plan together with the patient, and follow up on interventions.
The work involves assessment and treatment of people with acquired brain injury or neurological disease. The most common diagnostic groups are stroke, Parkinson's disease, and MS. The position gives you the opportunity to follow patients over a long period. This provides good conditions for meaningful rehabilitation work where you can see development, adjust interventions, and work towards the patient's goals.
As an occupational therapist with us, you have great freedom to plan and shape your work. We adapt the scope, visit frequency, and contact form of interventions based on what suits the patient best, for example, clinic visits, digital visits, or home visits. You also have good opportunities to influence working methods, development work, scheduling of leave, and your work schedule.
The team is characterized by high competence, long experience, and close collegial cooperation. You will never be alone with difficult patient cases. When someone needs support, we help each other, both in clinical work and during periods of varying demand. We regularly monitor how the work situation looks in the team and use this as a basis for relieving and supporting each other.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and who want to work specialized in neurological rehabilitation in primary care. You have 15 ECTS credits in neurological rehabilitation after completing your basic education, or are interested in taking the course. It is meritorious if you have at least one year of clinical experience in neurological rehabilitation.
The position suits you who want to use and deepen your competence within neurorehabilitation, and who appreciate getting to follow patients over time. You appreciate working independently but also value close cooperation with other professions. You thrive on putting the patient's needs and goals at the center when planning and prioritizing your work.
In the meeting with patients, you are sensitive, clear, and curious about what is important to the individual. You contribute to the team's joint work by sharing your competence, seeking support when needed, and helping to develop working methods forward.
For you, it is a matter of course to cooperate with colleagues and other partners in the work. You also share Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

Since travel for work occurs, a B-driver's license is a requirement.
