About Us

Eken Center is part of Humana, a leading actor in care and social services. Here, we offer housing for adults with intellectual disabilities, with or without a need for somatic care. Our unit, located centrally in Falköping, spans three floors with a total of 22 apartments. Our clients are 21 years and older, and we work to provide them with support and help that truly makes a difference.

At our facility, we work in close collaboration between different professions. Our team consists of nursing assistants, activity staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and psychiatrists.

About the Position

As care staff with us, you will have a varied job where you, among other things, will plan and carry out individual interventions based on needs and goals from our clients' implementation plans. You will document daily in our documentation system. Together with colleagues, you will distribute tasks and communicate with other health care personnel and the manager who is present and leads the work.

Examples of tasks:

• Supportive conversations.
• Follow up on residents' weekly plans and implementation plans.
• Handle medication based on delegation.
• Plan activities and transport.
• Social gatherings.
• Support in daily activities and ADL (e.g., nursing, meal support, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and shopping).

Employment Conditions:

We are currently looking for an employee for a temporary position covering a month and the summer. We offer employment immediately and leading up to the summer.

The working hours are variable and may include day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are solution-focused, empathetic, and flexible. You are a person who has the ability to handle stressful situations with security and stability. You are responsible and can structure your work independently, while also having good teamwork skills and thriving in a team. You have pedagogical insight into people's different prerequisites and can adapt your way of communicating to their needs.

We are looking for you who:

• Want to help and support people in their daily lives.
• Have a valid B-driver's license.
• It is meritorious if you have experience working with this target group.
