We are now looking for an independent dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and respectful patient interaction.

Main duties and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Krokslätt, we work in a positive atmosphere where teamwork and business development are natural parts of our daily routine.

As a dental nurse at Folktandvården Krokslätt, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dental nurse with us, you play a key role in ensuring that patients feel well-received and safe during their visit. You will utilize your full range of skills, and the role also requires creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.

Folktandvården Krokslätt is a workplace where we care for each other and our patients. We are a development-oriented clinic striving to be the best workplace for you and your colleagues.

The clinic currently has 6 treatment rooms but will undergo renovation this autumn. In spring 2027, we will move into our newly renovated clinic with 12 treatment rooms.

We have a wide variety of patients, which means no two days are alike, a diversity that is appreciated by those of us working at the clinic.

The clinic is located close to both bus and tram stops.

The position includes among other things:

• Assisting during examinations and treatments
• Working with own patients during prophylaxis treatments, introductions, and oral health counseling
• Work in the sterile room and reception

Competency requirements and profile

• Trained dental nurse with education from MYH (Swedish Authority for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to independently handle administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and smart way
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a listening and empathetic manner
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored supervision program during your first period. The supervision program is part of our two-year development program for newly graduated dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed by us, you will be contacted by recruiters from the HR department for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week 27.

Folktandvården Västra Götaland Region conducts checks in the suspicion and criminal registers before employment.
