About Us
Närhälsan Kallebäck Health Centre and Child Health Centre (BVC) opened operations in October 2023 in completely new premises. The health centre is located in an expanding and partly new residential area just south of Liseberg, within the City Centre district of Gothenburg. We offer e-services such as video visits, self-check-in, self-monitoring, iCBT, 1177, as well as a chat function and online triage.
The health centre started with a small staff group that will be gradually expanded. The staff group is the hub that, together with the centre manager, drives the development of the new health centre. Kallebäck and Ekmanska health centres have a close collaboration and a shared centre manager.

About the Job
Your tasks at the health centre and BVC span a broad field of work and cover the area of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital healthcare meetings, and at the clinics.
The work involves both emergency and planned operations. You work largely independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues at the unit and cross-professionally in the team, as well as with other actors such as home healthcare and other specialist care. Together with the health centre management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission; therefore, supervising students is also included as part of your role at the health centre.
About You
You are a registered nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse and/or in diabetes care of at least 15 ECTS credits. It is meritorious if you have experience from working in primary care or at a BVC and/or have a 7.5 ECTS supervisor education.
We are looking for you who take initiative in work and are confident in making your own decisions. You are thorough, have good problem-solving skills, and can prioritize your tasks effectively.
In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, responsive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well both verbally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener during both digital meetings and visits at the clinic. We would appreciate it if you have an interest in digitalization and operational development.

About the Recruitment Process
Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite relevant candidates to a telephone interview. Thereafter, the hiring manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
