About the Company

Trollhättan serves as GKN Aerospace's Center of Excellence for Engine Systems and is part of GKN Aerospace Sweden. The site employs approximately 2,200 people. Their expertise covers a wide range of engine components, from casings and compressor exhaust housings for civil and military aircraft engines, to turbines and nozzles for the most advanced space rockets. GKN is also a world leader in manufacturing technology for laser wire deposition (WAAM) and is currently in an expansion phase, planning significant investments in their Trollhättan operations.

They are planning extensive investments to increase total manufacturing capacity to meet future customer needs, as well as investing in new technologies such as additive manufacturing (AM). This requires major machinery investments, adaptations of existing workshops, and the construction of new industrial facilities. Within the Construction and Infrastructure Engineering department, they manage all the company's assignments related to infrastructure and equipment engineering.

Your Responsibilities

GKN now sees a need to expand the project team with a KMA / BAS P resource to ensure the working environment for their larger projects. We place great emphasis on the role requiring good collaboration skills and the ability to act independently. You will work as an executor and ensure that necessary changes are implemented according to needs and requirements. You will ensure good collaboration with Project Managers, the Environmental Manager, and Safety Engineers. You will perform safety tasks for the Responsible Person for Occupational Health and Safety (BH) in accordance with AFS 2023. You will prepare safety plans and check risk analyses from designers. The work requires you to be "on-site".

Qualifications

• You have the required competence, education, and experience in safety within industrial engineering projects.
• You can easily communicate formally in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• BAS P/U education.
• KMA education, with at least 2 years of experience.
• Experience from industrial engineering projects.
