About the role

In the role of Environmental Auditor, you work closely with our customers to ensure that businesses comply with current regulations and standards. The role is independent and involves significant personal responsibility for planning and executing assignments. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting audits at customer sites – planning, execution, and follow-up according to accredited regulations and in digital systems
• Responsible for planning audits at customer sites, primarily in the local area but also in other parts of Sweden
• Participating in national employee conferences approximately twice a year, as well as regional and digital meetings
• Conducting continuous education and competence development according to applicable regulations
• Maintaining external contacts with the industry and authorities, and acting as a regional ambassador for our services

About you

To thrive in this role, we see that you are structured and self-directed with a good ability to plan and execute your work. You have a professional demeanor and feel confident in dialogues with corporate customers.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has post-secondary education in Food Agronomy, Food Engineering, or equivalent
• Has work experience in food production, with merit given to experience in environmental auditing and third-party certification
• Is comfortable working with a digital approach and high mobility
• Expresses yourself very well in speech and writing
• Has a very good ability to interpret and apply regulations

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working as an auditor, inspector, or in public control, or
• Held formal lead auditor training
• Competence in other areas within environment, health, and safety

A driver's license and access to a personal car are required. To succeed in the role, you need to enjoy traveling and, in some cases, overnight stays for work.

The position is located in Gothenburg and surrounding areas. Our headquarters are in Kalmar.

The position is a permanent employment, with an initial six-month probationary period. The extent is assessed according to agreement, at least 80%, with the possibility to grow in the role and increase the working hours.

HS Certifiering

HS Certifiering AB was founded in 2008 and is a subsidiary of the independent Hushållningssällskapet. We are accredited according to ISO17065 and offer certification and auditing of food and green industries, from primary production, to industry, restaurants, and grocery retail.

We perform accredited certification for e.g. EU Organic, KRAV, Sigill Quality System, and the Swedish Grocery Retail standard for safe food handling in stores, as well as auditing, control, and verification on behalf of our customers.

Our mission is to contribute to safety and competitiveness within the food industries through impartiality, knowledge, and services. We have a turnover of over 24 MSEK and consist of 22 employees plus business support functions. We are active throughout the country.

We are members of Swetic, the industry organization for testing, inspection, and certification.
