With 24/7 readiness, clinics across the country, and unique knowledge of animal health, we contribute to healthier animals and a more secure life. As district veterinarians, we work on behalf of private individuals, companies, and authorities. We offer socially essential services for emergency animal healthcare, disease control, and preventive measures for good animal health. Always grounded and with heart in the right place. Welcome to District Veterinarians Nerike!

Located in Lindesberg in southern Bergslagen, four miles north of Örebro, is our newly built clinic. Here we have access to X-ray for small animals, basic ultrasound, blood lab, a dental unit with X-ray, as well as an operating room. The district covers part of southwestern Västmanland and most of Närke. We currently consist of seven veterinarians, one licensed animal nurse, and two animal care assistants who help run the operations. Since one of our veterinarians is moving to another clinic, we are now recruiting a replacement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer a workplace with varied tasks.

If you become our new veterinarian, the plan is that you will primarily work with farm animals. Mostly cattle, but also some sheep, horses, and you will also work with small animals at our clinic. If you are interested in horses, there is an opportunity to help build a larger operation than we have had the chance to do so far. For you who have farm animals as your main area of interest, there are also good opportunities to work with what we see as potential for expanding our capacity in all areas moving forward!

Since on-call duties are a natural part of our services, you must be willing to work with and maintain competence in all types of animals. You who apply to us find the variety of being a District Veterinarian appealing!

QUALIFICATIONS

As a veterinarian with us, you are self-reliant and take responsibility for your tasks, while also being collaborative and seeing the value in good teamwork.

At our clinic, no two days are alike, so you should thrive in being part of an event-driven operation and have the ability to adapt to what the situation requires. As a veterinarian, you are proactive and forward-thinking, often thinking outside the box. You appreciate customer contact and enjoy keeping the customer in focus. In your role as a veterinarian, you demonstrate good judgment through the ability to make correct prioritizations based on the needs of the situation and care about doing a good job.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Good computer skills, Swedish veterinary license, and a B-driver's license are required.
