The Orthopaedic Clinic in Region Örebro County is a county clinic operating in Örebro, Karlskoga, and Lindesberg. Here you will find everything from highly specialized regional care at the forefront of research to basic orthopaedics for all residents of the county.

All three hospitals are active emergency hospitals with emergency departments, inpatient wards, and surgical facilities.

Job Description

We are looking for you who want to work as a Resident Physician (Underläkare) with us. The duties include ward work, on-call shifts in the emergency departments, supervised outpatient clinics, and assisting in surgeries.

At the district hospitals, primary on-call duties are shared with the Surgical Clinic, which also provides experience in caring for acute surgical patients.

Qualifications

You must have Swedish language skills equivalent to EU level C1 and have completed at least 10 terms of the Swedish medical program.

Since the operations are located at all three hospitals, having a B-driving license and access to a car is an advantage.

Interviews will be held continuously throughout the summer.

The application should include a CV and a cover letter. Certificates, grades, degree certificates, etc., should be provided at a potential interview.

A police certificate may be required in accordance with current legislation.

About the Operations

The Orthopaedics and Hand Surgery area provides university healthcare and clinical research at the county's three hospitals: Örebro University Hospital, Karlskoga Hospital, and Lindesberg Hospital. The area provides care within the entire orthopaedic field, including highly specialized care.

A major restructuring is underway within the area to improve accessibility, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Establishing a clinical research unit is an important part of this development work.
