About the role

Frökontrollen is an independent and autonomous seed testing laboratory with a proud history spanning nearly 150 years. Today, it is a modern operation that ensures the quality of what is sown and harvested across Sweden.

Employment period: The position is a seasonal role running from August to October, with the possibility of extension for the remainder of the year.

Responsibilities

The tasks primarily involve sample preparation and practical laboratory work, such as cleaning, sorting, and weighing seed and grain samples.

The work is largely independent, and as an employee, you will be responsible for specific stages in the process. Since the operation operates under strict quality requirements, accuracy in measurements and registrations is crucial. New employees receive thorough on-site induction and training to quickly grow into the role and take ownership of their workflows.

We are looking for someone who

• Appreciates a structured approach and thrives when driving their work forward based on clear process descriptions. As a person, you are meticulous, quality-conscious, and able to step up when the workload is high during the laboratory's busiest periods.
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language (both spoken and written). This is a requirement to follow instructions and document results correctly.

It is an advantage if you have

• An agricultural, natural science, or technical education, or previous experience from laboratory work.
