General Adult Psychiatry Outpatient Care for Young Adults is a specialist unit within the Health and Medical Care Administration offering specialized care for mental illness and distress. The catchment area includes Örebro Municipality and Lekeberg Municipality. Our mission is to assess, treat, and rehabilitate individuals aged 18–24 who are referred to our unit or apply independently. The clinic is a well-functioning unit with approximately 24 employees, including psychologists, occupational therapists, nurses, care assistants, treatment assistants, doctors, rehabilitation coordinators, medical care administrators, and the unit manager. The nursing group consists of five nurses with varied responsibilities. Work environment is important to us, and we continuously invest in improvements, ongoing development of methods, processes, and working practices. We also supervise students and new colleagues.

We collaborate with primary care, habilitation services, user organizations, the municipality's social psychiatry, and other healthcare partners.

At Örebro University Hospital, we offer wellness activities such as gym access and group training.

Our premises are located at Örebro University Hospital, close to the bus and train stations and Örebro's beautiful city park.

The duties involve standard nursing work with a focus on psychiatric care, including medication administration, counseling, follow-ups, telephone advice, and suicide prevention measures. You will be a key collaborator with other staff at the clinic, contributing your specific expertise during treatment conferences and in patient case collaborations.

We are looking for a registered nurse. Experience from general adult psychiatric or specialist psychiatric care, as well as specialist education in psychiatry, is meritorious.

We see that you are driven, ambitious, reliable, have good teamwork skills, are flexible, and possess the ability to see the big picture in relation to both patients and other employees. You should enjoy working as a nurse, which often means being the hub of the network.
