About Us

The Department of Surgery and Urology is a large department comprising surgical, urological, breast, and endoscopy clinics, as well as its own day-care unit. We strive to provide the population of the county with surgical care and treatment characterized by high competence and quality.

At the surgical clinic, we are a wonderful team where doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and secretaries work together. The work involves outpatient care within surgical services. We strive to offer high-quality surgical and medical care and treatment, both planned and urgent.

Your Responsibilities

• Telephone advice and counseling.
• Assisting doctors during surgical examinations.
• Assisting doctors during outpatient surgeries.
• Running your own wound clinic for surgical patients.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse with a few years of work experience; experience in surgical care is an advantage. You are empathetic and responsible. You are service-oriented, flexible, creative, and structured. You collaborate easily with others, as a large part of the work involves teamwork, but you can also work independently. With your drive and engagement, you wish to be part of and contribute to the development of the department. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and interest in the tasks.

Employment Terms

Permanent position with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The position is daytime hours, 40 hours/week, Monday - Thursday 07:30–17:00 and Fridays 07:30-12:30.
