About Us

On the unit, doctors, nurses, and nurse assistants work together. We work cross-professionally in teams with contact person assignments, and our staff composition reflects society in terms of cultural background, age, and gender. We work with patients suffering from affective disorders, eating disorders, self-harm behavior, and psychotic illnesses, among others.

Your Responsibilities

• You will be one of two discharge coordinators on the ward, responsible for the discharge process, ensuring contact with collaborating partners (LINK), and participating in SIP (Swedish Interagency Public Protection).
• You should enjoy working with people, be flexible, and have good teamwork skills and a high sense of responsibility.
• You must be able to provide good somatic and psychiatric care, including supportive and motivational conversations, helping patients with structure and maintaining good personal hygiene. You should be able to initiate and participate in network and care planning meetings. As a contact person, you are responsible for documenting the patient's care.
• You will be involved in development and change work on the ward. We continuously work with occupational health and safety issues and follow the Region's common values for personnel matters.

Your Qualifications

• Nurse Assistant with professional certification.
• Meritorious: Approved education as a nurse assistant in psychiatry 2 (200 credits) and community-based psychiatry 1 (100 credits) or forensic psychiatry (100 credits).
• Meritorious: Experience working with LINK.

Great importance is attached to personal qualities such as personal maturity, good oral and written communication skills, stability, initiative-taking, and good teamwork ability.
