About Us

The psychiatric clinic in Eskilstuna is a general psychiatric outpatient clinic serving the population of Eskilstuna Municipality. We are part of the Psychiatric Clinic at Mälarsjukhuset and are centrally located within walking distance of trains and buses.

About 60 dedicated employees work here – nurses, doctors, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, care assistants, and medical secretaries. We are organized into four teams: ADHD, bipolarity, and two general psychiatric teams. Teamwork is the core of our operations, and we have an open climate where we support each other and share knowledge.

Your Responsibilities

Reception duties during daytime, Monday-Friday. As a nurse with us, you work closely with the patient and are an important part of the team. Your tasks are varied and include:

• Nursing assessments and care planning
• Telephone advice and support contacts
• Medication management, injections, and medication adjustments
• Caring conversations and collaboration with neighboring care providers and the municipality
• Administrative tasks related to patient care.

We work with individual care plans to increase patient participation and hold regular check-ins and treatment conferences to shorten the path to decisions.

• Are a registered nurse (preferably with further education in psychiatry)
• Are confident, responsible, and enjoy working in a team
