Your Role

As a Quality Technician, you will work closely with your team adjacent to Saab's production. You are responsible for inspecting incoming articles and providing metrological expertise in connection with deviations and investigations within production. This is done in close collaboration with purchasing and production quality.

Together with your colleagues on the department, you will ensure that the correct quality is maintained for incoming articles. In this role, you will lead metrological issues in various forums, carrying the responsibility to contribute to a continuous improvement culture where the customer is always at the center.

Main Responsibilities

• Measurements using hand-held measuring equipment
• Document completed inspections
• Manage quality documentation in the business system IFS
• Deviation management
• Visits and measurements at suppliers may occur
• Calibration

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, structured, analytical, and flexible. The role requires you to be responsible, resilient, and able to act based on daily priorities. You thrive both in a team environment and working independently. To succeed in this role, you should have strong communication skills, as the position requires daily contact with various functions. We value a non-hierarchical personality that is open to change and development.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in engineering/quality or at least 3 years of work experience in quality work within manufacturing industry and production.

Desired Competencies

• At least 2 years of experience working with measurements using hand-held measuring equipment
• Good knowledge of reading engineering drawings, including form and position tolerances
• Good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance procedures according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, citizenship requirements may apply.
