We are now looking for a team-oriented dentist who wants to make a difference!

Main duties and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Herrljunga, you will meet patients of all ages with various healthcare needs. As a dentist with us, you play a vital role in ensuring that patients feel well-received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full range of skills, while the role also demands creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.

The position includes, among other things:

• working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room
• performing both simple examinations and more advanced treatments, as well as emergency dental care
• serving as the team's specialist in oral diagnostics.

We see advantages in team-based dentistry, and each team consists of a dentist, a dental nurse, and a dental hygienist.

Competency requirements and profile

• Licensed dentist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an efficient and smart manner
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when workload is high
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a listening and empathetic way
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored supervision program during your first year. This program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of competence development.

About the recruitment process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager selects candidates and invites them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 27 and 28.

If you, as an applicant, have education/degree from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, it may be necessary to complete supplementary theoretical and clinical work tests as part of the recruitment process.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in the suspicion and burden registers before employment.
