Are you looking for a varied and broad role as a nurse? Then this is an exciting and challenging position for you. We place great emphasis on psychiatric nursing and work with the patient at the center.

Our patients are primarily individuals with substance abuse issues, often combined with complex and extensive psychiatric comorbidity, who require psychiatric emergency care. The unit operates 24/7 and currently has nine inpatient beds.

At our facility, nurses and assistant nurses work in teams that form the core of the nursing care. Additionally, there are doctors, counselors, and medical secretaries on the ward. We maintain a high staff density to ensure a well-functioning and balanced operation.

We offer mentorship support for four weeks upon employment to create security and a good introduction to the work on the ward. We have close cooperation with other psychiatric wards at the clinic, focusing on development, collegial support, and competence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We now have the opportunity to welcome new nursing colleagues who wish to become part of our team and contribute to developing our ward forward!

We work in nursing teams where nurses and assistant nurses work side by side with mutual respect, collaboration, and a focus on the patient. Daily planning takes place in close collaboration between assistant nurses, nurses, consultants, and the patient.

The work pace can be high at times, and the role involves significant personal responsibility. It is about finding solutions, working with a low-affective approach, and safeguarding psychiatric nursing care.

Working hours are scheduled for days and evenings, with shifts every third weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with the eligibility to practice in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. We would appreciate if you have experience in psychiatric nursing. Specialist education in psychiatry is an advantage.

For us, it is important that you have an interest in psychiatry and our patients. You thrive working both independently and in a team. As a person, you are structured, have good organizational skills, and a positive attitude. You also have the ability to handle a high work pace and value good interpersonal interactions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The administration also includes vision, hearing, and deaf services and youth clinics in Skåne.
