About the role

The role of Accountant/Controller is central, and you are responsible for ensuring correct financial reporting and an efficient closing process. Here you work closely with the business operations and serve as a key link between the finance function, sales, and production. In this role, you combine operational precision with business understanding and contribute to creating clear decision support for the operations and management. Together, the finance function in Nyköping handles 5 companies and a branch in Denmark. You will become part of a dedicated team of 4 employees and report to the Finance Manager.

The position is a direct hire on a full-time basis, and the start date can be adapted to your current notice period. You are based in Nyköping with the possibility to work from home up to 2 days a week. The recruitment process is conducted through Poolia, and you will be employed directly by Lapp Miltronic. All questions regarding the position are answered by the responsible recruitment consultant.

Your main responsibilities

The role of Accountant/Controller involves stimulating and varied tasks in a dynamic workplace.

• Reporting and analysis of financial results
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Quality assurance of financial statements and financial data
• Supporting operations and management in operational and tactical decisions from a financial perspective
• Point of contact for bank relations and auditors
• Participation in projects related to systems, cost, and efficiency improvements

Requirements:

• Academic education in economics or equivalent
• Some years of experience working in accounting/controlling
• Good understanding of financial reporting, follow-up, and closing work
• Experience with economic and BI systems
• Good knowledge of the Office suite/Excel
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing

Experience with the business system SAP, which LAPP Miltronic uses, is meritorious.
