The Swedish Fortifications Agency is looking for an Operations Developer for the Security Department's support staff in Eskilstuna – a key role in creating efficient processes and developing working methods. We are experiencing strong growth and the support staff is being built up to streamline the Security Department's ability to lead, coordinate and monitor operations at a comprehensive level. The Swedish Fortifications Agency is in a strong expansion phase with large investment volumes to continue developing and building properties and facilities within the total defence. The Security Department is responsible for security protection at the Swedish Fortifications Agency. The work includes security protection analysis, physical security, information security, personnel security, incident management, security protection agreements and signal security. Approximately 80 employees currently work at the Security Department. The support staff is cohesive for the department's planning and operational monitoring, development of processes and working methods, training and coordination of cases.
We are now looking for an Operations Developer for the support staff with overall responsibility for developing, coordinating and quality assuring the department's processes, working methods and governing documents. The role is central to the department's development and gives you the opportunity to influence how the operation is conducted, developed and monitored.
As an Operations Developer, you work independently and proactively to analyse the operation's needs, identify areas for development and translate these into concrete improvement initiatives. Through a strategic and operation-oriented working method, you contribute to increased quality, efficiency and delivery capacity.
You are responsible for ensuring that laws, regulations and other requirements are handled and integrated into the operation's processes and routines. The role also includes coordinating and coordinating operational development issues in close cooperation with other departments and external authorities.
Furthermore, you provide important support in the department's work with operational management, operational planning and monitoring. You coordinate deviation and improvement work and work for a systematic working method that promotes learning, development and continuous improvements.
Through your work, you contribute to creating conditions for a legally secure, efficient and sustainable operation that is equipped to meet both today's and tomorrow's requirements.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education in a field relevant to the position, for example from a university college, university, university college of vocational education (YH) or other equivalent education. You have several years of experience in process and operational development. Furthermore, you have experience of developing, managing and improving management systems in accordance with ISO 9001.
You have very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and are used to working structured with administrative tasks and digital operational support. Furthermore, you have good administrative ability and experience of using administrative IT systems. A B driving licence is a requirement for the position.
It is meritorious with experience of working in a state authority, public or defence sector and if you have worked with coordination within the operational area. It is also to your advantage if you have experience of operational monitoring and budget processes.

About the employment
The position is a permanent position and may be initiated with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be war-placed. The location is Eskilstuna. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. Security screening with register control will be carried out before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
