For 25 years, Gryning has offered residential care (HVB) and open care for children, youth, and families, emergency and foster homes, addiction treatment, supported apartments, interventions against honor-based violence and oppression, as well as LSS housing. We offer counseling and education and assist with placements. Gryning is owned by the municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations.
Familjecentrum Fyrbodal in Vänersborg receives families with children and unaccompanied children aged 0–12, where we conduct investigations, treatment assignments, and assessments. Our overarching goals are to provide families with alternative and sustainable relationship patterns and to strengthen parents' caregiving abilities. The unaccompanied children receive security, structure, and stable care as a foundation for their continued development.
We are now looking for a Treatment Secretary for a full-time temporary position. Start date is by agreement, and the employment extends until December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension. The position involves scheduled work, including evenings and weekends.

Job Responsibilities
What does the role entail?
As a Treatment Secretary, you participate in treatment planning and perform qualified investigative and treatment work. You conduct conversations with family members, document cases, and maintain contact with clients and other key persons in the children's network. Since care and supervision are part of the job, it is important to be able to collaborate, be empathetic, and flexible. Being a support for families in their daily routines and maintaining routines for unaccompanied children are essential parts of the work.
Qualifications
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have an academic degree such as a social worker, social pedagogue, behavioral scientist, or other equivalent education. Experience working with children and families in vulnerable life situations, as well as a good knowledge of legislation in the field, is meritorious. We are looking for you who can work independently and in a team, are flexible, and structured.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. A driver's license is required as travel is part of the job.
Employment Details
- Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
- Duration: 3–6 months (position runs until Dec 31, 2026 with possibility of extension).
- Working hours: Shift schedule (including evenings and weekends).
