Psykosvård Stockholm is a newly established unit within the Stockholm County Council healthcare area. Here, we consolidate care for patients over 18 years old with psychotic illnesses into one organizational unit. We offer assessment, investigation, and treatment according to national guidelines and regional care programs. Within Psykosvård Stockholm, we conduct development work, education, and research regarding psychotic illnesses. We work in multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible care and treatment around the patient.
Description
We are now looking for a nurse for a fixed-term position who wants to help shape the future of psychiatric care.
The team working here consists of doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, care assistants/Case Managers, medical secretaries, IPS coaches, and the unit manager. We are a modern outpatient clinic working with patients suffering from psychotic illnesses in Alviks Strand. The clinic is located in premises near Alvik Square. We are constantly working to develop psychiatric care and offer, among other things, several patient education programs.
The operations are characterized by high flexibility based on patient needs. We have a well-established collaboration with the inpatient care at S:t Göran Hospital and with neighboring care providers, such as district administrations and addiction clinics, among others.

As a nurse at our clinic, you work independently to provide psychiatric nursing and treatment, collaborating both internally and externally. You act as the central hub, responsible for medication administration, creating care and crisis plans together with the patient, and evaluating and following up on these plans. You act as the coordinator/primary contact person to ensure your patients receive the right interventions together with your team.
In addition, we would appreciate it if you were involved in the clinic's patient education programs and groups.
Qualifications
You are a licensed nurse. Previous experience within psychiatric care or specialized training in psychiatry is meritorious. You enjoy working together with colleagues to achieve the best outcome for the patient. You are independent in your work and take initiative. You have an interest in the patient group and are interested in development work.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A B-class driver's license is desirable as we conduct some home visits.
Conditions
