Our team is growing, and we are looking for you who want to help design and take responsibility for the system installation in our flying vehicles. You will join a wonderful and engaged design team of 12 people working on Saab's flying products, such as the Gripen and T-7. You are offered a fun and interesting job where you will help design the electrical schematic basis for the installation of the entire electrical system in the aircraft.
In the role of Electrical Schematic Designer, you will work with great freedom, where you are responsible for how you plan and structure your work. Here you will also step into a role where, together with colleagues, you will drive improvements and develop our methodology, while gaining broad product knowledge and communicating with other areas within the Gripen business unit.
As an Electrical Schematic Designer, your main tasks will include:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Schematic Designer who wants to be part of a technically advanced and innovative team. You have a solid background in electrical and cable design and are accustomed to working with complex system solutions and ensuring that the right requirements are captured in a timely manner.
As a Senior Electrical Schematic Designer, you have a systematic and structured work methodology, but you are also flexible and adaptable. You thrive in a role where you collaborate closely with both team members and other departments. Your experience and analytical skills enable you to take responsibility in the development process and contribute to effective solutions.

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
Structural and System Installation Design consists of eight sections, with a total of approximately 130 employees. Our shared responsibility is to develop and integrate all the functions our products need to be a world-class fighter aircraft system. The area is responsible for electrical schematics, cabling, mechanical articles, as well as fuselage structures. To succeed with this, we need broad competence and engineering expertise.
