Department 91

The Psychiatric Inpatient Clinic, Forensic Psychiatry, is looking for a nurse for Department 91, which is one of five forensic psychiatric departments at Brinkåsen in Vänersborg.

The department's mission is to treat and rehabilitate patients who have been sentenced to forensic psychiatric care and who have a psychotic illness.

Job Responsibilities

We work in care teams based on contact person responsibility and individually adapted care, with our forensic psychiatric care process as the starting point. As a nurse, you will have overall nursing responsibility within the care team and be responsible for various medical interventions.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a Registered Nurse or Specialist Nurse in Psychiatry. We work in teams with other professions here at Brinkåsen and have continuous contact with each other. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and ability to collaborate.

Experience in psychiatric nursing is meritorious but not a requirement.

Clinical Base Year

As a newly graduated nurse, you are included in the Clinical Base Year with regular mentorship meetings at the department.
