RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Social Secretary responsible for investigations of adults, you will work at the Unit for Investigations and Follow-up. You will handle cases concerning harmful substance use and addiction, housing, social psychiatry, and domestic violence. You will conduct investigations, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues when necessary, and decide on, or propose decisions regarding, various interventions. You will also follow up on approved outpatient care interventions and external placements in residential care homes (HVB) or institutions. The unit also includes Social Secretaries for economic assistance, Social Secretaries for children and young people, as well as foster care and child secretaries. The unit is managed by a Head of Authority and a Senior Social Secretary.

The Unit for Investigations and Follow-up is part of the business area Individual, Family, and Work, and we work with the "Signs of Safety" approach; that is, focusing on the individual's own solutions, networks, and resources.

The responsibilities include close collaboration with other units within the business area, providing advice, and cooperating with, for example, psychiatry and the police, as well as internally with your colleagues in other units of the social services.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a Social Worker with a Social Work degree or a degree that the employer considers equivalent, and you have experience with the target groups of social services. You should also:

• Want to work closely and actively with the individuals we meet
• Want to collaborate with colleagues, externally, but most importantly with the individuals we meet
• Share our fundamental idea that everything we do should be characterized by respect and client focus, and that the participation of individuals is important

Meritorious are knowledge of Signs of Safety and Domestic Violence.

The work requires good knowledge of the Swedish language, the ability to express yourself well orally and in writing, and good pedagogical and communicative competence. Experience with Lifecare is desirable.

A Category B driver's license (manual) is a requirement as you will be driving a car in the position.
