Team Leader for the Family Home Team

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a Team Leader for our family home team, which works with placed children and young people.

In the role of Team Leader within the Child and Youth Unit (IFO), you are responsible for operational line management, in close collaboration with the Unit Manager, for 2 family home secretaries, 5 child secretaries, and one parent secretary.

The Team Leader is responsible for distributing tasks to the case officers and for making decisions in individual cases, according to the current delegation order. The role of Team Leader also includes line management and supervision in individual cases.

The Team Leader must ensure that current legislation, delegation orders, guidelines, and routines are followed within the unit.

The role also includes assisting the Unit Manager with operational and quality development within the unit, as well as acting as support for the Unit Manager in relevant tasks where the Unit Manager is responsible.

In the event of the Unit Manager's longer absence, the Team Leader will receive temporary delegation, equivalent to the Unit Manager.

The Team Leader will represent the municipality in certain collaboration forums within the unit's areas of responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

The position requires a degree in Social Work (Social Worker).

In this role, you are expected to have extensive knowledge within the area of responsibility, relevant legislation, and to be a guarantor that routines and legal certainty are maintained.

You must have several years of experience in public authority operations within social services for children and young people.

You should be well-versed in case handling and documentation, as well as the legal provisions that govern our operations.

Training in and knowledge of "Signs of Safety" and "Signs of Belonging" is meritorious, as the entire unit works based on this framework.

You must have very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

You need to have good knowledge of English.

A valid B-class driver's license is a requirement for employment.

You must be computer literate. Experience with social service case management systems is meritorious.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police criminal record) is required for the position.

Duration: Permanent, start date: according to agreement.
