Our colleague in the East/North region of Sweden is retiring this autumn, and we are therefore looking for his replacement with a start date in autumn 2026. If you see yourself in this description, we believe the role of Salesperson at Contura Group could be the challenge you are looking for.
Contura Group, with its business areas Steel & Shower, shares common roots with Ifö/Geberit. We operate from a privately owned production facility in Mörrum, Sweden, where our headquarters are also located. Here, you will have the unique opportunity to build upon the quality products of our well-known brands, leveraging a long history and deep expertise.
Contura Shower was previously Geberit's (Ifö) Nordic shower business, where the development, manufacturing, and sales of showers have taken place for many years.
Contura Steel was previously Geberit's (Ifö) Nordic operations, manufacturing and selling stainless steel products such as sinks, washbasins, troughs, outdoor kitchens, and water traps for nearly 100 years.
The customer base is often the same for both brands, and we have a sales organization with the Nordic countries and the Baltic states as our home market.
Day-to-day life as a Salesperson with us
You represent our offerings to wholesalers, plumbing wholesalers, kitchen stores/manufacturers, building material retailers, and all their projects in your region. Contura Steel products are well-known in the plumbing and kitchen industries. Contura Shower is sold under well-known product families such as Showerama, Art, Space, and Next. They were previously marketed under Ifö, Ido & Porsgrund, but since 2024 under our own brand: Contura Shower.
You plan your ongoing sales work yourself, dedicating part of your time to expanding our business through new customers, but also by developing our existing partners. One of your strengths is developing and maintaining good relationships with your customers. You work with traditional customer visits, but also with quotations, training of retailers, product demonstrations, demo days, and trade fairs. You are the first point of contact for customer inquiries and have strong support from our Customer Service. We also expect you to contribute ideas for product development and marketing.
As a field salesperson, you know that this is independent work, but you will also have close contact and support from your colleagues and support from the Sales Manager to whom you report. A suitable place of residence is the Mälaren region, but neighboring counties are also acceptable. Your daily routine involves regular travel at least four days a week, so your family situation needs to allow for this. You also need to be able to set up a suitable workspace at home when needed. Expect approximately 40–50 overnight stays per year. A company car, PC, and mobile phone are included in the role, and we have a collective agreement.

What we want you to have
At least 10 years of experience in a similar sales role to/within the Building Trade/Plumbing industry is a key prerequisite.
You may also have equivalent experience from the customer side, but as the knowledgeable Salesperson you are regarding our products, you have the ambition to go out into the field to show what you are made of, as you know how good Salespeople work to achieve success with customers and in stores.
Sales experience to/from plumbing wholesalers, building trade, kitchen stores, and plumbing stores is considered an asset.
The role is highly communicative, so it is a prerequisite that you master Swedish fluently in speech and writing, as well as English.
You are proficient in the Office suite and have good computer skills. CRM experience is a plus. We use Monitor as our business system.
A valid Category B driver's license is required.
