About the role:

As an Account Manager, you will sell, develop business, and manage relationships with target groups such as veterinarians, veterinary clinics, animal hospitals, and farmers. Your daily work is varied, focusing on finding solutions to simplify the customer's day-to-day operations, as well as working long-term to provide advice and support to the target group regarding our animal health products and services. It is important that you naturally take responsibility and work proactively to assist customers. Your role involves independently driving growth and profitability for your district, converting new clinics, and developing existing customers within the animal health industry, using the right tools and organizational support. The work varies from phone and digital contact with your leads and customers to on-site visits. A large part of your working time will be spent at customer sites. The customers in your district are located in Eastern, Western, and Central Sweden, extending up to Northern Sweden. You should preferably live somewhere around or in Stockholm, and as long as you can cover your assigned region sustainably, your home address is not of major importance.

Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities include:

  • Selling our products and services by identifying, contacting, and booking meetings with existing and new customers.
  • Understanding customer needs and ensuring they are met by suggesting relevant products or services.
  • Gaining an understanding of the conversion potential of prospective and existing customers, thereby ensuring proper prioritization of your time.
  • Sending out and following up on quotes with the goal of closing as many deals as possible.
  • Reporting results, insights, and status on customer processing within your district back to MWI Animal Health, including competitor and market monitoring.
  • Participating in internal meetings, as well as external conferences and trade fairs.
  • Carpooling with colleagues and suppliers.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Licensed Animal Health Technician (Djursjukskötare) or Animal Caretaker Level 2 or 3 with more than three years of clinical experience.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
  • Fluent in Swedish (spoken and written).
  • Good proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in Excel and other Office packages.

The position involves traveling and being out among customers in your district most days of the week. Overnight stays may occur, as well as weekend events such as trade fairs.

Preferred: Experience in sales or customer service.

Personal Attributes

MWI Animal Health is looking for an Account Manager who has a natural ability to build trust, maintain relationships, and sell our products and services. You are an ambitious and outgoing person with strong communication skills who enjoys meeting customers at their workplaces. Furthermore, you are confident in and enjoy giving presentations to one or several customers simultaneously. To succeed in this role, it is important that you are business-driven and creative in finding ways forward to achieve your goals. You are self-motivated, structured, and skilled at long-term planning. You have a good understanding of economics and can set up simple budgets. You are a humble, positive, and curious person who can quickly acquire knowledge about MWI Animal Health's products and the services we offer. Last but not least, you are a team player who goes the extra mile to contribute to the team's common goals and continued success.

Great importance is also placed on other personal qualities.
