Android Developer – Platform-Near (C++/C & AOSP)

We are looking for an experienced Android developer to join a client's team working on in-vehicle infotainment solutions, including navigation, maps, media, and connected services.

This is a platform-near role focusing on C++/C and the HAL layer within Android AOSP, with some Java/Kotlin.

You will:

• Maintain and improve existing systems
• Develop new features based on business needs
• Refactor and modernize code
• Contribute to stable deliveries throughout the software lifecycle

We are looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in Android development (Kotlin/Java and C++)
• Strong knowledge of Android AOSP and the AOSP build system
• Experience with Android HAL and Linux
• Experience with AUTOSAR
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Jira, and testing tools (jUnit, Mockito, Espresso, etc.)
• Fluent Swedish and good command of English
• Valid work permit in Sweden

Plus: Embedded Linux, Python, RxJava/QNX, automotive experience, agile methodology.

You are a team player with technical breadth, strong communication skills, and a passion for innovation.
