About the role

As a Senior Embedded Developer with us, you work on assignments where the technical level is high and where you are expected to contribute both to implementation and to how solutions are developed.

You might, for example, work with:

• development and optimization of embedded software in C/C++
• work close to operating systems such as Embedded Linux or RTOS
• debugging in systems where timing, resources, and behavior are critical
• design choices and technical trade-offs in complex systems
• collaboration with system engineers, testing, and hardware teams

We often work in teams from Knowit, where you together are responsible for a function or part of a system – rather than working in isolation on shorter assignments.

About you

We are looking for someone who is confident in their technical competence and has practical experience working with embedded systems.

You likely have:

• several years of experience in embedded development
• good knowledge of C and C++
• experience with Embedded Linux and/or RTOS
• habit of working close to hardware and understanding the interaction between software and the system

It is an advantage if you have worked in environments with high demands on performance, reliability, or long lifespan.

We place less emphasis on exact technologies and more on your ability to understand and work with complex systems over time.
